Dakar 2016 Stage 5

Nikolaev (KAMAZ) won stage 5 of the Dakar, though assisted by Martin Kolomy (Buggyra Tatra) after he flipped over. Kolomy eventually managed 6th (other sources say 7th) in the stage. Dakar 2018 Stage 4: Loprais out

Ales Loprais is out of the 2018 Dakar after starting down the field in stage 4. First his powersteering missed, than his turbo broke down resulting in a power loss of 40%. and he eventually crashed his truck in the dunes.

DAKAR 2018 stage 3: Kolomy still stranded

News is scarce, but we hear that Kolomy has stranded with mechanical problems with the finish in sight, while Pavel Vrnak, on the fast assistance Buggyra Tatra, had to spend the night in the dunes with several other competitors. They were just stuck!
