RALLYE BESKYDY 2014

Náš klub v letošním roce slaví 45 let od vzniku.

25. leden 1969 je historicky vepsán do paměti těch, kteří po celou dobu propagují značku Tatra.

Letošní trasa povede krásnou přírodou Beskyd a zamíří do města Příbor, jejímž nejvýznamnějším rodákem je Prof. MUDr. Sigmund Freud (1856 – 1939), světoznámý lékař a psychoanalytik.

Historická část města Příbor byla v roce 1989 vyhlášena městskou památkovou rezervací.

V roce 1995 byla ve městě ukončena výroba osobních automobilů TATRA.

Majitele vozů Tatra co nejsrdečněji zveme na Rallye Beskydy 2014.

Sraz účastníků a presentace bude tradičně na Horní Bečvě v rekreační středisku RETASO, naproti restaurace ZAVADILKA.

Příjezd účastníků je v pátek 5. září 2014 od 15:00 do 19:00 hod!!!!!

!!! Příjem účastníků v sobotu jen po domluvě s pořadatelem!!!

V sobotu 6. září 2014 v 9:15 se uskuteční rozprava s jezdci.

Pořadatelé ocení příjezd posádek v dobovém oblečení.

Rallye se jede za běžného silničního provozu. Pořadatel má právo výběru vozidla. Vozidlo musí být vybaveno platnou SPZ, nebo průkazem ZSPZ, včetně zaplaceného pojištění – kontrola při přejímce vozidel.

25 – 27 July 2014 (TRUK event) –

Tatra Register UK Annual Rally 2014 – 25-27 July

This year’s rally is based in Ironbridge – a world heritage site and

key contributor in Britain’s industrial revolution, on the

magnificent river Severn and easily accessible from the motorway

network (7 miles from M54 J4). Our hotel base is a listed building,

originally the house of a local tile manufacturer, with the famous

iron bridge only a short walk away. The area also has many, many

B&Bs for those that want alternative accommodation. We will

cover about 60 miles in total over the weekend, taking in some

excellent local scenery.

Hotel: Valley Hotel (http://www.thevalleyhotel.co.uk/) – Tatra Register UK has a rate of £138 per night for a

double room, including 3 course meal with coffee. We will be having a formal dinner in the hotel on the Saturday

night, so book at the £138 rate for Saturday night. If you’re arriving late on Friday or want to eat in one of the

many pubs in Ironbridge on Friday night then the B&B only rate is £95. Or book at the full rate – Ian and I will be

eating in the hotel on the Friday night and you’re welcome to join us.

will want to take a £10 deposit, so have your credit card handy. Say if you need ground floor accommodation /

lift, and ask to speak to Jo if you have any queries.

First activity: Friday 25 July 3pm – we will be leaving the hotel for a

museum visit. There will be a rally fee of £10 per adult and additional

approx cost of visits including parking are £16pp EXCLUDING Severn Valley

Railway – that depends on you. If you have an English heritage card or an

Ironbridge passport, don’t forget to bring it with you.

Before and after the rally: There is masses to do in Ironbridge and the

area before and after – the hotel offers a Sunday night special of £109

DB&B. If you are going to visit other attractions, there is an Ironbridge

“passport” http://www.ironbridge.org.uk/plan-your-visit/buy-tickets-online/ – Ian and I particularly recommend

Blist Hill including a visit to the pub there and a hot pasty from next door! If you like walking, the Wrekin is en

route from M54. If you are in the area in advance, DO NOT visit the Museum of the Gorge, the Tar Tunnel,

Stokesay Castle or the Severn Valley Railway as we will be visiting them on the rally.

If you are coming in a Tatra or other “collectible”, be aware that our

visit to the Severn Valley Railway coincides with their Classic Vehicle

Day. Great …but they won’t accept a group booking, so you need to

email the organiser Chris Tallents at christallents@hotmail.com – do

this immediately as you need to be

on the invitation list by 1 March.

the Cliff Railway (England’s oldest and steepest inland electric funicular railway –

August 17, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Once each year, on the third Sunday in August, about 200 of the most prized collector cars and motorcycles in the world roll onto what is often called the best finishing hole in golf — the famed eighteenth fairway at Pebble Beach. Tire meets turf and transformation occurs: the stage is set for one of the most competitive events in the automotive world. The occasion is the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Originally a small social event paired with a road race through the pine and cypress forests of Pebble Beach, the Pebble Beach Concours has grown into the top-ranking collector car competition in the world. People from all over the globe come to compete in or simply witness and enjoy the event here at Pebble Beach.

The Concours is not a contest of speed, but of excellence. Automobiles and motorcycles are judged for their historical accuracy, their technical merit and their style—and the best garner reward and recognition.

Our club this year celebrates 45 years since its inception.

January 25, 1969 is historically inscribed in the memory of those who propagate throughout the Tatra brand.

This year’s route will result in the beautiful countryside of Beskydy and head into town Příbor its most prominent native is Prof. MD. Sigmund Freud (1856 – 1939), the famous physician and psychoanalyst.

The historical part of the city Silverware was in 1989 declared a conservation area.

In 1995 was completed in the production of passenger cars TATRA.

Tatra car owners are cordially invited to the Rallye Beskydy 2014.

Meeting participants and presentations will be traditionally on top Bečvě RETASO in a recreation center, opposite the restaurant Zavadilka.

Arrival of participants is Friday, September 5, 2014 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. hour!!!

!! Reception of participants on Saturday by appointment only with the organizer!!

On Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at 9:15 debate will take place with the drivers.

The organizers appreciate the arrival of crews in period dress.

Rallye takes place in normal traffic. The organizer has the right vehicle choice. The vehicle must be fitted with a valid license plate or card ZSPZ, including paid insurance – inspection at scrutineering.
